LEARN · VALUATION
Market capitalization is share price × shares outstanding. It is a size snapshot, not enterprise value (which also adjusts for debt and cash).
Liquidity, index membership, and peer sets often sort by size. Thin quotes or stale share counts make precise caps unreliable — the desk prefers honest gaps.
Hosted pages emphasize delayed last price and SEC fundamentals first. Where shares outstanding are not yet wired, we do not invent a market-cap figure.
